International Seminar 2024: Cuba

Thomas M. Millington
Dr. Millington was Professor Emeritus of Political Science at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, where he taught from 1966-1997. He believed strongly in making connections with people in other countries and we hope to honor his spirit with this international seminar.
At Hobart and William Smith Colleges he specialized in Latin American politics, but was particularly fascinated by Bolivia and Cuba. He believed strongly that for students to understand a country, they must know it and its people.
With the inaugural 2024 “Thomas M. Millington International Seminar” we hope to continue that legacy with Cuba, a country that is often misunderstood by many Americans.
